Housing

Homes, Not Profits

Affordable housing is a basic human right, not a commodity. The market is rigged to benefit developers and corporate landlords while everyday working families are struggling.

The housing crisis is a direct consequence of economic policies that prioritize developers and landlords over the needs of people. Wealthy investors, foreign buyers, corporate landlords continue to inflate the cost of housing.

No More Band-Aid Solutions

Small-scale interventions can’t fix deep-rooted problems behind the housing crisis - we need a systemic change to ensure housing becomes accessible for all.

I vouch to emphasize the failure of these existing policies and how they perpetuate inequality. Housing needs to be presented as a public good that supports the well-being of working class families.

The issue of housing is connected to a broader movement for social justice, and I will fight to bring this to the forefront.
